What To Expect

Verde Community Church is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning to church after many years, or looking for a church to call home, we're excited to welcome you to Verde Community Church. Our desire is to help people engage our community and see lives transformed by Jesus through multiplying leaders, disciples, worship, and resources.
Come as you are—we'd love to meet you.
Sunday Worship Service - 9:30 AM
We recommend arriving about 10–15 minutes early so you have time to park, grab a cup of coffee, check in your children if needed, and find a seat before the service begins.
First Time Visiting?
When you arrive, one of our greeters will be happy to help you find your way around campus, answer questions, and help you get your children checked in if needed. After the service, we'd love the opportunity to meet you. Feel free to stop by the Welcome Center to learn more about Verde Community Church, ask questions, and discover ways to get connected.
We hope you'll feel at home from the moment you arrive.
What Is The Service Like?
Our Sunday service typically lasts about 90 minutes. Each service includes Christ-centered worship through contemporary and traditional music, prayer, Biblical teaching with practical application, and opportunities to respond to what God is doing. You'll find a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere where people of all ages and backgrounds gather to worship together.
What Should I Wear?
Come however you're comfortable. Some people dress casually in jeans and a t-shirt, while others prefer business casual. You'll see a little bit of everything, so don't worry about dressing a certain way—we're just glad you're here.
Where Do I Park & Enter?
Parking is available throughout our campus around the main Worship Center and in front of our school building. If it's your first time visiting, our parking team and greeters will be happy to direct you to an available space and help you find the main entrance. Need help finding us? Just look for our Welcome Team with the green name tags—we'd love to help you get where you need to go.

We have 2 entrances to our Worship Center. The main entrance can be found on the Northwest side of the buildingwhere our greeter team will be happy to welcome you in. Our other entrance can be found on the Southeast side of the building. If you're new, we highly reccommend using the main entrance!

Kids & Families
We love partnering with families to help children know and follow Jesus. From the nursery through elementary school, our goal is to provide safe, welcoming environments where kids can learn God's Word and build lasting relationships.

Verde Tots (Nursery)
Our Verde Tots Nursery is available every Sunday for children newborn through age 3. Our nursery is staffed by trained volunteers and staff members who are committed to providing a safe, loving, and caring environment while parents participate in the worship service. Whether it's your first visit or you've been attending for years, we'll help you get your child checked in and answer any questions you may have.

Verde Kids (PreK-5th Grade)
Verde Kids is our children's ministry for Preschool through 5th Grade and meets during the Sunday worship service. Children enjoy engaging Bible lessons, worship, games, and small group activities designed to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus in a fun, age-appropriate environment. Verde Kids meets every Sunday except on the fifth Sunday of the month. Whenever a month has a fifth Sunday, we celebrate a Family Sunday, where children join their families in the main worship service. We love these special Sundays as an opportunity for families to worship, learn, and grow together as one church family.

If it's your first time visiting, simply stop by the Kids Check-In area when you arrive. Our team will help you register your children, answer your questions, and show you where to go so you can enjoy your morning with confidence.
Youth
Students in grades 6–12 are invited to be part of our Youth Ministry, where they build friendships, study God's Word, and grow in their faith together through regular gatherings and special events.
Our youth group meets on Wednesday nights, 6:30-8pm in the Chapel.
Accessibility
We want everyone to feel welcome at Verde.
Our campus includes:
  • Wheelchair-accessible parking and entrances
  • Accessible seating in the Worship Center
  • Restrooms with accessible facilities
If you need any additional assistance when you arrive, please let one of our greeters know. Our team is happy to help make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Coffee & Fellowship
Come a little early and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea before the service! Our Verde Café is open before the worship service and is a great place to meet people, connect with friends, or simply relax before the morning begins.
We encourage you to arrive 10–15 minutes early to grab a drink, say hello, and enjoy fellowship with our church family.
Other FAQs
Do I have to be a Christian to attend?
Not at all. Whether you're exploring Christianity, have questions about faith, or have been following Jesus for years, you're welcome here.

What Bible does VCC use?
Our pastors primarily preach from the English Standard Version (ESV), but you're welcome to bring any Bible or follow along using a Bible app like YouVersion.

Do I have to give money?
No. If you're visiting, please don't feel any obligation to give. Giving is an act of worship for those who call Verde Community Church their church home. We're simply grateful that you've chosen to worship with us.

How often do you celebrate Communion?

We celebrate Communion together as a church on the first Sunday of each month. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you're invited to participate with us as we remember His sacrifice.

How do I become a member?
Membership at Verde Community Church is an opportunity to commit to our church family and join us in our mission of making disciples.
The process includes:
  • Attending a Membership Class to learn about our beliefs, mission, and values

  • Completing the membership application
If you're interested, we'd love to help you take that next step. Visit the Welcome Center after service or contact the church office for information about our next membership class.
