JIM KLEIN

Jim was born and raised in a small town in North Dakota. During his first year of college, he became involved in all manner of secular life including exposure to the occult and satanic worship. The following summer, he was introduced to the real Jesus by some other college students who were excited about what God was doing in their lives.  It was attractive and meaningful.  He asked th Lord to forgive him and come into his life and that decisions changed the whole trajectory of his live. After graduating form college, he accepted an offer to be the Associate Pastor at a small church in SE Los Angeles County. God blessed his efforts and in his first call as senior pastor the small rural church grew from 35 – 175 over 3 years before he was early killed in a traffic accident.

He has continued in ministry from 1973 to the present — sometimes full-time, sometimes part time. He developed skills in finance and securities and Planned Giving. He continues an Income Tax practice for over 30 years. Exposure to a variety of roles in multiple churches and denominations gives him a great appreciation for the variety and significance found in various parts of the Body of Christ.

Together with Patty, they have two adult children, Jason and Katrina, and three grandchildren. Their half century of life together has been both traumatic and exhilarating and they have applied their lessons learned  via a ministry called Hope for My Marriage – because there is!
